Dome at St. Peters Basilica


Rome is one of my very favorite places!  This was taken while in the Vatican's St. Peter's Basilica.  It's an astoundingly beautiful place! The opulance is over the top and quite sad when you think of the disparity of wealth in the world, but I tried not to think of it but just enjoy being there and observe.

    I've never been there and your photo makes me want to visit! It's hard to believe it was built in the 1500's.

    Wonderful photo, the building does look very beautiful.
    Glad I assisted you to get a playlist. I wondered if you could actually hear the music, I can not now, are government made it illegal to listen to free music. I thought of removing the playlist, but if it can be heard in other countries I shall leave it.
    I cannot hear your either even though it seems you did buy your music.
