On the route I take to work I pass the University of Miami and they have these beautiful bougainvillaes hanging over the walls along Red Road. It's so refreshing to see such vibrant color along a city street that I just had to stop yesterday. I took this with my cell phone through the windshield :o)
This is Monkey...weird name but we didn't choose it. She was our tenant's kitty, but when she moved out...she left the cat behind...I will never understand why people do things like that! Anyway, my Mom's feeding her along with 3 other cats in the neighborhood. She's thinking of taking her in but she really seems to love cruising around the place and obviously hanging out in the trees so maybe she'll just keep caring for her and let her stay outside and sleep on the porch if she wants to. She is a beautiful, sweet kitty...really can't understand how someone could abandon their pet like that...people are whacked!.JPG)
