Hobie Beach Trees
This beach is on the south side of the Rickenbacher Causeway on the way to Key Biscayne. It's called Hobie Beach. It used to have a bunch of pine trees...alot of shade to sit under and people would bring their dogs to the beach...really a cool place to park at night and just listen to the waves lap along the shore. About a year ago, the city started a project to improve the beach. The trees are all gone, except for these two...which stand in the water most of the time. Not sure this is an improvement...I'm sure the contractors think so.

We have a beach here in Port Elizabeth called Hobie Beach as well.
ReplyDeleteIs that the ocean or a fresh water lake. I'm just wondering how those trees managed to grow in the water.
