I was playing around and I clearly don't have a good grip on using all my camera's features, but I actually like how this turned out. The exposure was long enough to capture all the lights and some of the movement in the clouds and bay...cool :o)

No time to try to get anything new today...so this is from a trip to London a few years ago. Love how the gold glistens on the closer shot. Reminds me of those Christmas cards that are a print with gold foil over them in certain spots...how you can tell it doesn't belong to the actual image.

Cold Front Over Miami

This morning when I was heading to work, we had a cold front (it's Miami folks...so it's all relative) coming in with some rain. I got into my building and saw this wall of clouds heading over the city...so I headed out to the balcony to get a few shots. Cool...I love a dramatic sky :o)

Tonight we headed to Sanibel for the sunset and while I usually see alot of gulls around, I have never seen sand pipers before. Tonight they were all over the place, running like mad...it made it extra fun to watch was we waited.

Dandelion

Most of my fireworks pics always turn out as abstracts...I like them, but not what I expect when taking pictures of firework. But this one was a nice surprise and to me...it reminds me of a dandelion. I used to love to find the perfectly round ones...like this.

I got off work today at just the right time. I headed home for my camera and drove out to a parking garage in west Miami to catch the sun as it went down. I didn't catch it before it headed into the clouds...but I waited it out and was rewarded with this fire ball and wispy clouds. Awesome :o)
